A board for open discussion of mainly cannabis in Canada focused on Canopy Growth Corporation (CGC.V); but open to discussion on investment, cannabis, life etc. as long as it is respectful of others. And of course we are open to normal chitchat and off topic fun whenever necessary.

Hello! www.newcannabisventures.com/aurora-cannabis-adds-1500-patients-in-june-as-sales-soar/I've been picking up a bit of Aurora and Supreme lately - Even selling Canopy in order to do so - Aurora because their price has slid and I think long-term they will be around even if they struggle over the next few months or year (I always think long-term as much as possible) and Supreme because not only do I think they will be around, they are nearly certain to get a nice bump when their sell license is approved, which also seems to me to be a near-certainty. I also want more balance in my portfolio. I have too much Canopy compared to any other stock. Excited to communicate about more stocks than just Canopy in one place and also to minimize trollish behavior! Let's learn and contribute through our respectful disagreements! Thank you all (especially MedicineMan) for setting this up and for creating this fledgling community! |

Phase 2
Refuge: a place to share
From the community of active users a need for a meeting place for open discussion of mostly Cannabis investment in Canada with a definite edge towards CGC.V but also life and, as long as it is respectful of others, basically any subject. And of course open to normal chitchat and off topic fun when necessary
This new board is more modern and allows for more control from the user: editing or deleting a post if you make a mistake or want to add to the original post among others. It doesn’t have blogs for all the stocks listed in the world so it is more reactive, faster and is structured around threads so it’s easier to follow a topic without having to open all the posts and of course you have notifications of new posts for each individually. We will also have the ultimate control to remove someone disruptive of the general atmosphere if need be; so don’t even bother to try.
A web investor community centered around helping each other and sharing infos and experiences with others in good spirits. All you loved in StockHouse and InvestorsHub in one place !
Today begins the second phase of the opening of this new board called: Refuge.
A step where those who are already in can welcome up to 5 people each on their own by giving them the link where they can register on their own and become a part of this community. Soon the doors will be opened to more people… So if you don’t get in in the coming days, it won’t be long before you get another chance… Don’t worry, we are just fine tuning it.
It is like a bench in the shade where people can go, share infos, talk about and enjoy life. It will be what We make of it over time… And who knows, it may even have lemonade stands if we’re lucky.

Hi all, so here's some full disclosure. Most of you know I'd never bash CGC. And this isn't really a complaint Just a funny story for a Friday afternoon. As we all know, CGC is well prepared for the potential strike with Canada Post - in what appears to be excessive pre planning, now that CP has asked for cooler heads to prevail and a 30 day grace period...well, CGC hired Dicom as a subcontractor along with some others for deliveries. To ensure I had my delivery I placed my order on Tuesday, knowing I'd have it before the strike...as always, I promptly revived my shipment notice from Tweed with the link to tracking number. After running some errands today I came home and noticed there was a delivery receipt in my email, indicating my Tweed package has been delivered and signed for. NOT BY ME!!??!!?! WTF? Whole stole my stash?! I frantically called customer care and got on with a great girl who realized that indeed my order had been delivered and signed for ! Huh? I swear it wasn't me!! Then she asks me " who's Edna?" Again, I ask? Huh? Ohhh. Edna....my 83 yrs old neighbor. Yep...signed, sealed and delivered.
Had a laugh with Tweed, hoping I was still on good terms with Edna, assuming she hadn't also opened my package. Apparently, Dicom and staff will be getting their wrists slapped...holy cow!

Thanks for creating this forum Medecine Man! For the past six months I have been reading everything I can get my hands on regarding legalization. The bullboards at stockhouse were the only place i could get real time info from likeminded investors. I cant stand the trolling that goes on there so I happily look forward to plenty of professional and constructive discussions here.
